Introduction

The Global Citizen Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by MPOWER Financing to international and DACA students who are enrolled or accepted to study at one of the 400+ universities in the U.S. and Canada .


Eligibility

To be eligible for the Global Citizen Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Valid student visa: Applicants must have a valid student visa to study in the U.S. or Canada.

- Full-time program: Applicants must be enrolled or accepted in a full-time program at one of the 400+ universities in the U.S. and Canada.

- International or DACA student: Applicants must be international students or have DACA status.

- Good academic standing: Applicants must be in good academic standing with their university.


Scholarship Amount

The Global Citizen Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $10,000


How to Apply for the Global Citizen Scholarship - MPOWER Financing

To apply for the Global Citizen Scholarship, follow these steps:

Step 1: Check Eligibility

Make sure you meet the eligibility criteria, including:

- Being an international or DACA student

- Being accepted or enrolled in a full-time program at an MPOWER-supported university in the U.S. or Canada

- Having a valid student visa (if studying in the U.S.) or a valid Canadian study permit (if studying in Canada)

Step 2: Create an Account

Register for an account on the MPOWER Financing website.

Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form

Complete the online application form, which includes:

- Personal information

- Academic information

- Essay questions (topics announced monthly)

- Proof of enrollment or acceptance at an MPOWER-supported university

Step 4: Submit Your Application

Submit your application before the deadline (July 31, 2024).

Step 5: Wait for the Results


MPOWER Financing will review applications and announce winners on their website.
