Here's how to cancel an NSFAS application
- Log into your "MyNsfas account" on the NSFAS website
- Scroll down on the NSFAS dashboard and select "View Applications" under Application Tracker
- Select "Track Application"
- Select "Cancel Application"
- Write a reason for canceling the application and choose a reason from the given list
- Upload a certified copy of your ID for security reasons in PDF or JPEG, maximum 20mbs
- Click the "yes cancel" tab to cancel your application
Alternatively, if you don't have internet access, you can write a formal letter to NSFAS stating your reasons for canceling the application. The letter can be handwritten or typed and must be sent to the NSFAS office with a certified copy of your ID as a reference.
